SUMMARY
The Epic Bridges Developer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting data integration solutions that enable seamless communication between Epic and other systems. This position involves analyzing workflows, developing and maintaining interfaces, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and maintain interfaces using Epic Bridges tools and other integration platforms
- Monitor interface activity and performance, ensuring data flows without interruptions
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface-related issues, coordinating with Epic and third-party vendors as necessary
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to identify interface requirements and specifications
- Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and enhancements related to interfaces
- Conduct analysis to ensure interfaces support current workflows and adapt to new system requirements
- Ensure interfaces meet regulatory and organizational standards, including HIPAA compliance
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including interface configurations, workflows, and issue resolutions
- Assist with the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to integration
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and resolutions effectively to stakeholders.
Required:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Epic Bridges, Corepoint
- Prior healthcare IT experience preferred, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
