PROJECT MANAGER (EMR System Implementation)
Contractor: At least 12 months
Location: NASHVILLE, Tennessee
*Selected PM Contractor will be on-site in Nashville more regularly (around 2-3 times / month)
Job Responsibilities:
- Implementation of all clinical EMR modules (AthenaHealth - GE Version) and 3rd party interfaces
- Manage projects using various best practice tools and methods
- Manage team activities by becoming familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member
- Communication of project status, decisions, updates, revisions and changes to all stakeholders facilitating decision-making and project progress; report to Director of Project Management
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and other artifacts as well as support monitoring and reporting of project progress
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
- Collaborate across divisions of the company to deliver solution
Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Experience in any mid-large sized EMR Systems: Epic, eClinicalWorks, athenahealth, Cerner or MediTech
- 5+ years of Healthcare IT Project Management
- Must be willing to travel on-site to corporate and/or client sites as needed
